Devstral for non-agentic tasks?

Hi Mistral team,
I'm curious to know if Devstral is also trained and suitable to handle code-related questions from scratch, without agentic/tool use or the need for a pre-existing code base?
For example: "Write me a snake game in python" where it outputs the code just in chat markdown.
Or is that outside the realm of Devstral and it's only supposed to be used with agents/tools?
